Peran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membentuk Akhlak Mulia pada Peserta Didik

Islamic religious education plays a strategic role in shaping the noble morals of students. This research aims to find out how Islamic religious education fosters honest, responsible, polite, and social care behavior in students through the internalization of Islamic values. The research method uses a literature review by examining various relevant literature on Islamic education and moral formation. The results of the study show that planned and sustainable Islamic religious education learning, supported by the example of educators and a conducive educational environment, is able to shape the personality of students who have faith, piety, and noble character. The integration between classroom learning and supporting activities strengthens the internalization of Islamic religious education values. These findings confirm the importance of Islamic religious education’s role as a means of forming effective noble morals, not just knowledge transfer.
