Analisis Media Sosial Tiktok Sebagai Sarana Edukasi Nilai-Nilai PAI Melalui Konten Husain Basyaiban: Kajian Literature Review

The development of social media has created both challenges and opportunities in conveying the values of Islamic Religious Education (IRE), particularly for Generation Z, who live in a fast-paced and visually oriented digital culture. TikTok, as a popular social media platform, has not been comprehensively examined as a medium for IRE education based on da’wah content creators. This study aims to analyze the role of TikTok as a medium for educating Islamic values through the content of Husain Basyaiban using a literature review approach. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method by examining ten relevant scholarly articles, analyzed through thematic categorization, content analysis, and synthesis of findings. The results indicate that TikTok is effective as a medium for IRE education due to its visual, concise, and contextual characteristics, supported by Husain Basyaiban’s communicative content strategies that are relevant to the realities of young audiences, aligned with social media trends, and grounded in Islamic teachings. The content functions not only as an informative medium but also as a transformative tool in facilitating the internalization of Islamic values and the formation of religious awareness. This study concludes that TikTok, through Husain Basyaiban’s content, can be positioned as an alternative and adaptive medium for Islamic Religious Education in the digital era.
