Pola Asuh Strict Parent dalam Perpspektif Islam: Model Intervensi Untuk Mencegah Kenakalan Remaja dan Membangun Karakter Yang Baik

The increasingly complex phenomenon of juvenile delinquency reflects a crisis in the parenting system, particularly the authoritarian parenting style (strict parent) that is still widely applied in families. This research aims to analyze the strict parent upbringing style and its impact on adolescents, examine firmness in Islam as an alternative approach, and formulate intervention models and parenting recommendations based on Islamic values to shape resilient and morally upright children. The method used is library research with a thematic and critical content analysis approach. The research results show that strict parenting patterns have serious impacts on the psychological and social development of adolescents, such as low independence, mental pressure, and the risk of delinquency and identity crises. In response to these issues, this research produces an Islamic parenting intervention model based on five pillars: exemplary behavior (uswah ḥasanah), educational dialogue (tarbiyah bi al-ḥiwār), value instillation (tarbiyah qiyāmiyah), positive supervision (murāqabah), and spiritual reinforcement (tazkiyah an-nafs). In addition, to support the implementation of these five key elements, the researchers also recommend several concrete steps in building children's character, such as avoiding violence, fostering two-way communication, guiding children through reflection, involving children in family spiritual activities, and being a consistent and adaptive figure.
