Dampak Guru yang Asyik terhadap Kedekatan dan Keberanian Siswa Bertanya

This study aims to analyze the role of “asyik” teachers those who demonstrate warm, empathetic, and friendly communication in creating an engaging classroom atmosphere, encouraging students’ courage to ask questions, and reducing truancy behavior. Using a library research method, this study examines five relevant Indonesian scientific journals. The data were analyzed through content analysis by identifying thematic patterns across selected literature. The findings show that interpersonal communication characterized by openness and dialogue enhances students’ confidence to participate and ask questions, while simultaneously strengthening emotional bonds between teachers and students. Furthermore, positive teacher–student relationships function as a protective factor against truancy, as students feel more emotionally connected to the school environment. This study concludes that the presence of “asyik” teachers not only influences classroom dynamics but also contributes to improving students’ attendance patterns. These results highlight the importance of developing teachers’ interpersonal competencies and fostering a supportive classroom culture through continuous institutional support.
