Peran Pendekatan Active Learning dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan Agama Islam

Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in shaping the character, morals, and spirituality of students. Islamic Religious Education learning should not only emphasize cognitive aspects but also develop critical thinking skills, religious attitudes, and the practice of Islamic values in everyday life. This article aims to examine the contribution of the Active Learning approach in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning. The method used is a literature study by examining various relevant research results. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Active Learning has a positive impact on learning outcomes, motivation, and student participation in the learning process. This approach encourages active involvement, reflection, and the ability to relate material to real experiences. Thus, Active Learning can be an effective approach in realizing interactive, meaningful Islamic Religious Education learning, oriented towards the formation of students with Islamic character and intellectual and moral competence.
