The development of technology and science in the era of globalization creates a number of challenges in the academic world, particularly those related to scientific attitudes and ethical norms. Phenomena such as the pragmatic approach to science and acts of plagiarism indicate a weak application of the fundamental values of science. This article aims to examine the contribution of the philosophy of science in strengthening scientific attitudes and ethical norms in higher education institutions. The focus of the study lies on the ontological, epistemological, and axiological aspects of the philosophy of science as a basis for developing an objective, critical, honest, and responsible attitude in academic activities. The research method used is qualitative, employing literature analysis with a thematic approach to literature on the philosophy of science, academic ethics, and policies in higher education. The study findings indicate that the application of the values of the philosophy of science plays a significant role in creating an academic culture of integrity. The inclusion of the philosophy of science in the curriculum and academic practice has proven effective in strengthening scientific attitudes and academic ethics. Therefore, the philosophy of science needs to be strategically integrated into higher education to create critical, ethical, and responsible academics.
