Menjembatani Jarak: Logika Dan Etika Penerapan Big Data Untuk Intervensi Action Research

Penelitian ini menyelidiki hubungan penting antara filsafat ilmu (meliputi ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi) dan desain penelitian di tengah tantangan Big Data Analytics (BDA) dan Action Research (AR). Meskipun paradigma tradisional kuantitatif dan kualitatif dikotomi secara filosofis, era kontemporer ini menuntut kerangka kerja yang lebih adaptif. Dalam BDA, studi ini mengkritisi kerentanan epistemologis akibat fokus berlebihan pada korelasi prediktif. Hal ini sering mengabaikan ontologi data apakah data mencerminkan realitas akurat atau artefak digital yang bias. Untuk mengatasi bias algoritmik dan menjaga validitas, diperlukan adopsi realisme kritis. Sebaliknya, AR menekankan aksiologi (nilai dan etika), bertujuan untuk perubahan sosial, bukan sekadar pemahaman. Di sini, diusulkan pragmatisme filosofis yang disempurnakan, di mana tanggung jawab etis dan dampak sosial menjadi inti desain metodologis. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini menekankan perlunya koherensi filosofis yang adaptif. Peneliti harus secara eksplisit memetakan asumsi ontologis dan epistemologis mereka ke dalam protokol aksiologis (etika data, partisipasi, dampak) sebelum pemilihan metode. Pendekatan ini memastikan produksi pengetahuan yang valid secara metodologis dan bertanggung jawab secara sosial.
