Abstract

The main objective of the research ‘’phenomenological study: Dynamics of psychological adaptation of students of MAN Insan Cendekia Palu City’’ is an effort to analyze the form of dynamics of psychological adaptation and adaptation efforts made by students. By using a qualitative descriptive method, making students of class X (ten) as the main object of research with a sample of 6 people. So that the results of the study are obtained in the form of; first, the dynamics of students as a complex and multifaceted process that takes place through the stages of introduction, self-adjustment and integration. second, there are efforts to understand the prevailing culture and norms, efforts to obtain social support, development of stress management skills and forming self-identity and self-evaluation
