Implementasi Metode Wafa Dalam Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di SDIT Bina Mulia

This study is motivated by students’ difficulties in reading the Qur’an accurately, particularly in mastering makhraj, tajwid, and understanding the meaning of verses. The research aims to analyze the implementation of the Wafa method in Qur’an learning at SDIT Bina Mulia and its impact on students’ reading ability, comprehension, and Islamic character development. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively using the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman. The findings reveal that the Wafa method effectively improves students’ Qur’an reading skills, comprehension, learning motivation, and spiritual discipline. These outcomes are supported by teacher competence, adequate facilities, and strong support from the school and parents. The study concludes that the Wafa method is an effective and holistic model for Qur’an learning in Islamic elementary schools.
