Analisis Aliran Filsafat Tradisional, Modern, dan Islam Serta Hubungannya Dengan Pendidikan Islam

This study is motivated by the need to understand the role of traditional, modern, and Islamic philosophical streams in shaping the framework of Islamic education in the contemporary era, where advances in science, technology, and global values demand relevant and adaptive educational practices. The study aims to analyze the main characteristics of these three philosophical streams and their relation to objectives, methods, and values in Islamic education. A qualitative approach with library research was employed, reviewing scientific literature from journals, books, and academic documents published between 2020 and 2025. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify key philosophical themes and their relevance to Islamic educational practices. The findings reveal that traditional philosophy emphasizes value transmission and moral stability through a conservative approach, modern philosophy prioritizes rationality, intellectual freedom, and adaptation to scientific progress, while Islamic philosophy integrates rationality, spirituality, and transcendental dimensions. These results indicate that Islamic education can adopt an integrative model, combining tradition and modernity within the framework of Islamic values. The study concludes that Islamic philosophy serves as a conceptual bridge, harmonizing moral values, rationality, and pedagogical practices. The implications of this research provide a theoretical foundation for curriculum development, teaching strategies, and policies in Islamic education that are adaptive and holistic. Future research is recommended to empirically examine the implementation of these philosophical concepts in educational institutions and assess their impact on learning quality and student character development.
