Pengaruh Lingkungan Keluarga terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Siswa SDIT Baitul Hilmi Bogor

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the family environment on the character formation of sixth-grade students at SDIT Baitul Hilmi Cibinong. A quantitative associative method was used with a sample of 45 students selected through total sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires. The analysis results indicate that the family environment has a positive and significant influence on student character with an R Square value of 0.665. This means the family environment contributes 66.5% to character formation, while other factors influence the remaining. A better family environment through role modeling and Islamic communication leads to better religious, disciplined, and responsible student character
