Abstract

The purpose of this study is: 1). To determine the description of the discipline of grade VII students at Citra Samata Middle School 2). To determine the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in forming the disciplined character of grade VII students at Citra Samata Middle School 3). To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategies in forming the disciplined character of grade VII students at Citra Samata Middle School. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. While data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the majority of grade VII students have complied with school regulations, are present on time, dressed neatly, and follow the learning well, although some are still late, lack focus, and have not completed the school attributes. Teacher strategies include role models, routine supervision, and educational reprimands. Supporting factors include teacher role models, clear school rules, religious activities, and parental support, while inhibiting factors include limited worship facilities and the influence of technology and the environment. This study confirms that the formation of student discipline is more effective if supported by teacher role models, consistent rules, and a conducive learning environment.
