Psikopedagogi Dialektis: Sintesis Karakter Ibnu Miskawaih Melalui Intervensi Pendidikan Untuk Mitigasi Depresi Remaja Akibat Bullying

Abstract

The high prevalence of depression in adolescents due to bullying  demands comprehensive treatment, but literature integrating external social support with an internal approach based on Islamic values ​​is still very limited. This study aims to formulate a conceptual strategy for addressing adolescent mental health problems through the perspective of Ibn Miskawaih in his work Tahdzib al-Akhlaq. This study used a qualitative method with a literature study design. Data were systematically collected from highly credible online platforms over the past ten years and analyzed using content analysis techniques and source triangulation. The results found a strong epistemological parallel between Ibn Miskawaih's four pillars of character: Al-Hikmah, Al-syajaah , Al-Iffah, and Al-Adalah, within the framework of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This synthesis gave birth to a new approach called Dialectical Psychopedagogy, which bridges traditional moral education and contemporary mental health care. Practically, this approach offers institutional intervention through zero-tolerance regulations for bullying  and pedagogical intervention through emotional regulation training. In conclusion, educational institutions are obliged to transform into protective ecosystems to prevent depression. Further research is recommended to conduct applied field research to empirically validate the operational effectiveness of this conceptual paradigm.
