Abstract

Perkembangan kecerdasan buatan generatif telah mengubah lanskap produksi pengetahuan digital secara fundamental. Artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana sistem AI generatif merepresentasikan peradaban Islam dalam proses produksi pengetahuan digital kontemporer. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis wacana kritis dan arkeologi pengetahuan Foucault, penelitian ini meneliti tiga sistem AI generatif utama: Gemini, ChatGPT-4, dan Copilot. Data dikumpulkan melalui prompt sistematis yang dirancang untuk mengekstrak representasi tentang filsafat Islam, sains peradaban Islam, dan kontribusi epistemologis Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem AI generatif cenderung merepresentasikan peradaban Islam melalui kerangka orientalisme digital, di mana capaian historis disajikan secara dekontekstualisasi sementara dimensi kontemporer mengalami reduksi sistematis. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi adanya reproduksi bias epistemik kolonial dalam arsitektur AI generatif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pengembangan korpus data representatif dan partisipasi aktif komunitas akademik Islam dalam proses alignment AI.
