Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a technology with significant potential to transform elementary school learning, particularly in learning planning, media development, personalization, and student engagement. This study aims to analyze the opportunities, benefits, challenges, and implications of AI implementation in elementary school learning. This study employed a qualitative literature review approach by collecting secondary data from relevant scientific journal articles and educational documents concerning AI, elementary education, learning media, and teacher competencies. The findings indicate that AI can improve teacher efficiency and creativity, support adaptive and interactive learning media, and provide opportunities to develop students’ critical thinking, creativity, literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. However, its implementation is constrained by teachers’ digital competencies, limited infrastructure, inadequate training, information accuracy, ethical concerns, and data security. Therefore, AI should be positioned as a learning support tool rather than a replacement for teachers. Effective implementation requires teacher competence, adequate infrastructure, continuous training, and responsible use
