Abstract

This study aims to analyze the weaknesses in literacy, numeracy, and spiritual competencies among elementary school graduates and to formulate evidence-based curriculum reconstruction strategies. The research employs a library research method by examining relevant journals, books, and educational documents. The findings indicate that low literacy and numeracy competencies are influenced by memorization-oriented learning, weak reading culture, and limited contextual learning. Meanwhile, weak spiritual competence is caused by the lack of integration of character education and moral values in the learning process. Therefore, reconstruction of the elementary education curriculum is needed through strengthening competency-based learning, integrating literacy and numeracy across subjects, and reinforcing character and spiritual education holistically. These strategies are expected to produce graduates who are academically competent while also possessing strong character
