Implementasi Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah Dalam Upaya Peningkatan Mutu Pembelajaran Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Di MIN 2 Gowa

This study aims to examine the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) in improving the quality of learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at MIN 2 Gowa. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects included the principal, PAI teachers, educational staff, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The results show that the implementation of SBM at MIN 2 Gowa has been carried out effectively and has a positive impact on the quality of PAI learning. This is reflected in systematic lesson planning, innovative teaching practices, and continuous evaluation. In addition, support from the principal, participation of school stakeholders, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure contribute to improving learning quality. However, there are still challenges such as limited instructional time, differences in students’ abilities, and variations in teacher competence. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed to enhance teachers’ professionalism and school management to further improve the quality of learning
